How long is an EICR valid?
For rented homes the report is typically required every five years, or at a change of tenancy if the previous report has expired. The inspector will state the next inspection date on the certificate.
Do landlords in England need an EICR?
Yes. Private landlords must have an Electrical Installation Condition Report for rental properties. We issue landlord electrical certificates across Greater London, including same-day appointments where we can.
